Let's Kill Hitler!

So, Doctor Who returns to our screen in what looks to be a blaze of glory tomorrow, and I for one could not be any more excited than I already am. So many revelations have been promised of this new run, beginning with its opening episode, titled 'Let's Kill Hitler'. Yes, we may have already received the reveal of River Songs identity during the mid-season finale (A Good Man Goes to War), but that is only half the story. We have so much more to look forward to, and it all begins tomorrow at 7:10pm on BBC One (and BBC One HD) for UK viewers, 9/8c on BBC America for all of you in the US-of-A.

I'll be posting a relatively spoiler-free review of each episode as they air, but for now, enjoy this trailer.

  1. I used to love Doctor who but stopped watching when David Tennent left, he just seemed perfect for the role in my opinion. I'm curious if it's worth watching with Matt Smith. Maybe I should start again. Looks as good as ever from the preview.

  2. Oh it's totally worth it. In my opinion (bare in mind that I'm a classic Doctor Who fan as well), Matt Smiths 11th Doctor is one of the best. His style is very similar to Patrick Troughton (the 2nd Doctor), and the current team of writers suit this perfectly. If you're want to get an idea of this, watch 'The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances' from the 9th Doctors series, and 'The Girl in the Fireplace', 'Blink', and 'Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead' of David Tennants tenure. Alternatively, you could just tune in tomorrow to see what all the fuss is about :P

  14. I quite like it. I'm not a big fan, like my friends, but Dr. Who seems to be a quality itself.
