Hooray for a Header!

So last night I finally got around to creating a header for the blog, hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did making it. As simple as it is, I think it fits the current state of all things me.

Doctor Who - Fan Art of a Time Lord

As some of you may know, I'm somewhat of a Doctor Who fan; as hinted in my post detailing the return of the current season to television.

From time to time (hah!), I have given the titular Doctor some attention in the form of doodling and sketching.

Firstly, here's a quick doodle of David Tennants 10th Doctor I did in 2009, near the end of his time as the character:

Collaboration with my brother (Rap/Poetry Skit)

Here's a little freestyle that I worked on with my brother for a bit of a laugh.

1 2 1 2 I got a big ting to stick inside ah you,
In your poo blue and vainy true.

(Neowl)
Yo fool, I'll hit you with a shoe,
If you come at me with your goo,
You know it's true, I got da rules!

(My Brother)
I will make you drool, slap you with my tool,
Leave you in a blood pool then sniff some glue.

Low snooze, before you slumber with your crew,
Take away all those mews,
And cue - the fortune of those fools, you'll be shivering and blue.

A slight apology.

Sorry that I seem to have been abusing the blog guys, it's just that my laptop died recently, making my time online rather restricted.

I shall still be updating up until I eventually get a new laptop, but just less-often than I would have hoped I'd be doing during this month, and the foreseeable future.

Let's Kill Hitler!

So, Doctor Who returns to our screen in what looks to be a blaze of glory tomorrow, and I for one could not be any more excited than I already am. So many revelations have been promised of this new run, beginning with its opening episode, titled 'Let's Kill Hitler'. Yes, we may have already received the reveal of River Songs identity during the mid-season finale (A Good Man Goes to War), but that is only half the story. We have so much more to look forward to, and it all begins tomorrow at 7:10pm on BBC One (and BBC One HD) for UK viewers, 9/8c on BBC America for all of you in the US-of-A.

I'll be posting a relatively spoiler-free review of each episode as they air, but for now, enjoy this trailer.

Here's a short poem I wrote recently:

She calls me her angel, yet I'm unable to fly,

I'll always be longing, to touch that night sky,

My life's always complicated, Oh how I ask "why?"

Don't care for the solemn things, now let's all get high.

I wander 'till my feet ache, and speaketh my mind,

No stepping back, spread that good vibe,

All the while wondering, "my time will be nigh",
